The museum of Flanders, located on the Grand’Place of Cassel, opened on October 23, 2010. Unique in Europe, the museum invites you for an exciting journey through mysterious Flanders. Come and discover exceptional works of Flemish masters, contemporary creations of international artists and unusual objects to understand all the diversity, the subtlety and the daring of Flemish culture. Besides admiring more than 600 works, you could discover the hotel de la Noble Cour, a wonderful building of the 16th century, totally renovated, and which is an absolute gem of architecture thanks to its diverse decorations. The garden, behind the museum and linked to the museum tour, will also invite you to immerse yourself in the Flemish landscape. You could walk through a collection of species from Mounts of Flanders.
